EarthTronics Energy Star Lamps Exceed California Energy Commission LED Specifications

EarthTronics announced that its Energy Star rated 23 watt LED Recessed Fixture Retrofit kit,  13 watt BR30 floodlight, and 13 watt A19 omni-directional LED light bulb exceed the voluntary California Quality Light Emitting Diode (LED) Lamp Specification issued by the California Energy Commission (CEC) for LED lamps used in residential applications. This new specification, commonly referred to as “CEC” or “California Quality Spec,” has set a LED lamp performance baseline for utilities to consider that is more stringent than Energy Star.

These EarthTronics products meet or exceed all CEC specifications including color of light and color consistency by providing a color rendering index (CRI) of greater than 90 with an R9 greater than 50.  This ensures a higher quality of light.  EarthTronics LED provide a smooth, full range dimming from 100 percent to less than 10 percent.  In addition, these lamps are rated at 25,000 hour life with a 5 year warranty.  These lamps feature a high quality multi-chip construction utilizing high power LED with an advanced cooling system.

EarthTronics 23 watt LED Recessed Ceiling Fixture retrofit kit fits popular 5 and 6 inch recessed ceiling fixtures and provides 1200 lumens of white 3000K light, which replaces a 120 watt incandescent floodlight with a full 90 degree beam angle and is capable of dimming to less than 5 percent.

The 13 watt BR30 EarthBulb LED floodlight provides 700 lumens of soft white 2700K light, replaces a 65 watt incandescent floodlight, and is capable of dimming to less than 5 percent with a true beam that provides full radial illumination.  Great for use in applications such as dimming recessed lighting and track lighting.

The 13 watt A19 omni-directional EarthBulb LED light bulb provides 800 lumens of white 3000K light, replaces a standard 60 watt incandescent light bulb, and is capable of dimming to less than 5 percent with a 300 degree beam angle. Because of the full radial illumination, this light bulb is ideal for use in table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and task lighting applications.
