Evolucia Expands Its Sarasota Operations Center

Evolucia is expanding its Sarasota operations center by moving it to a 61,000 square foot facility located at 7040 Professional Parkway East. The new facility will be the global headquarters of the company and Center of Excellence for researching, developing and manufacturing high-performance LED lighting controls and fixtures.

In addition to corporate business functions, the facility will strengthen Evolucia's LED research, development and testing operations. Through its partnership with Leader Electronics and possible future cooperation with other companies in Radom and Poland, the company will maintain its international mass-production capabilities and penetrate its products into the European markets.

Evolucia said that it acquired the latest manufacturing and optical testing equipment which will allow the firm to perform photometric, thermal, optical and other pertinent product and component analysis internally. This equipment will be installed at the new facility during the 3rd quarter of this year, by then the costs and time associated with product development activities can be greatly reduced.

Evolucia recently completed partnership agreements with Asian, European and Australian, and reached an affinity marketing agreement with a global lighting brand in Mexico. In addition, the company also signed a letter of intent to acquire Coral Springs, Affineon Lighting in Florida, in order to strengthen its product portfolio.
