Rigid Industries Releases the Wake Flame SL and the Wake Flame Series of Underwater Lights

Rigid Industries, the leader in vehicular mounted LED Lighting Industry, introduces the new Wake Flame SL to the marine grade line of lights. More importantly, this new marine LED light has given birth to the Rigid Industries Wake Flame series of underwater lights. The original M-Series Underwater Light released in March of 2013 is now the Wake Flame SXL and has all the same features.

The Wake Flame SXL and Wake Flame SL underwater lights the marine series of lights from Rigid make a big statement out on the water by illuminating vivid colors in the surrounding water from your boat. There are multiple LED color choices available in green, blue, white and the Wake Flame SXL’s RGBW color changing option. The Wake Flame SXL is the larger, higher lumen output light that features 18 LEDs in its oval design while the Wake Flame SL has half the LED count in its 4” round design.

Steve Adam, VP of Rigid Industries Engineering said, "The new UWL (Underwater Light) will revolutionize the boating world with its 5 times stronger than military spec Triplex coating and features such as the RGBW coloring changing model. Boaters can look forward to a wider, deeper beam pattern with its new design while ranging up to 9,000 lumens on select models. The UWL is priced competitively and built to the Rigid Industries LED Lighting standards of quality and durability." This statement still holds true and even more so with the Wake Flame SL add on.

The Wake Flame underwater lights undergo a Triplex® coating process that is up to 5 times stronger than military spec anti-corrosion coatings and safely allows these lights to be used in saltwater environments. Both light versions are sold in either surface mount, that screw from the front, or stealth mount that comes with a 2.5” stud to mount cleanly on a 2” thick or less transom. Multiple light arraignments are encouraged since these lights can be connected to a DMX controller and other lights on your boat.
