Philips Enters Taiwan Smart LED Market

Global lighting giant Philips decided to enter Taiwan’s smart LED lighting market, and aims to become the leading manufacturer in this field, according to an UDN report.

Philips displayed many new products at the 26th Taipei International Building, Construction & Decoration Exhibition, 2014 on Thursday. The Dutch lighting giant is working with other Everlight and other manufacturers to enter the LED lighting application market.

The company showcased smarter LED lights for residential and commercial lighting applications, incorporated with other multifunctional features, said Vicky Peng, Country Marketing Manager & Branded Retail Channel Manager, Taiwan at Philips Lighting. Philips displayed its first Philips Hue smart lighting network system with LED strip lights and smart residential lighting system Dynalite to integrate development systems and business opportunities.
