According to a report by government-owned Jamaica Information Services the country’s public service agency will be replacing 200 High Pressure Sodium (HPS) streetlights with LEDs.

It follows the successful completion of a pilot, which resulted in the installation of 30 retrofitted LED streetlights along the Palisadoes roadway.
