Chinese Sapphire Manufacturer Aurora Opto Revenue Guidelines for 2015

Aurora Opto, a sapphire manufacturer based in Harbin in Northern China, recently released its financial reports, and estimated earnings for 2015.

The sapphire maker recently released its financial reports from Jan. 1, 2012 to Dec. 31, 2014, which showed consistent high growth. The company’s revenue in 2012 reached RMB 215 million (US $ 34.43 million), and its net profits was RMB 17.50 million that year. By 2013, Aurora Opto’s revenue had grown 80.22% Year-on-Year (YoY) to reach RMB 388 million, while net profits soared by nearly 330.58% to reach RMB 75.36 million. In 2014, the company once again reported exponential revenue growth of 330.58% to reach RMB 620 million. Compared to 2013, the company’s revenue increased 59.7% YoY, while net profits also had soared 73.216% to reach RMB 130.57 million.

In the company’s estimated consolidated revenue for 2015, Aurora Opto projected reaching a revenue target of RMB 1.45 billion and a net profit of RMB 258.16 million. Equivalent to a 133.83% YoY revenue growth in 2015, and an estimated net profit growth of 97.72%.

Sapphire ingot revenue is expected to reach RMB 431 million in 2015, and single crystal furnace sales RMB 500 million. Sapphire chip revenues to peak to RMB 119 million, while consumer products about RMB 346 million, and other products about RMB 52.12 million.
