LED Lighting to be Tested in Cities Hosting Euro 2012

Recently, the Ukrainian cabinet is planning to set up LED illumination in cities to host the Euro 2012 European football championship.

The premier said that light-emitting diode production should be organized in Ukraine in the next two or three years.

The head of the state target program "Designing and introducing energy saving diode illumination," Viktor Sorokin, said that from September a joint Ukrainian-Korean company working on the production of light-emitting diodes will start operating.
