[Breaking News] MLS Intends to Start Bid for Osram’s Lighting Business

Chinese LED manufacturer MLS, or also known as Forest Lighting announced recently it plans to optimize the integration of its business resources, and strengthen business competitiveness by entering the bid for Osram Licht lighting business.

MLS chairman Qinghuan Sun was appointed by the company board to represent the company in talks, and sign related documents.

If the two parties reach and sign an agreement, they will follow company protocols and related regulations will be submitted to the board or shareholders meeting for further review and approval.

According to the company statement, the meeting will be hosted by Sun, and seven other board members will also attend the meeting. Approval from all seven board members will be required for the bid to pass.
