Amit and Prashant Soni, owners of the company, foresaw the potential of LED lamps in the UK’s lighting market five years ago. It supplies LED light bulbs, LED strips, and lighting fittings. Sales of Mirrorstone Lighting grew in accordance with the rising demand for energy efficient bulbs.
The brothers have now launched Mirrorstone Heating, offering super thin 22mm infrared panel heaters that can be mounted on both ceilings and walls.
Those slim heaters, according to the brothers, are easy to install, safe, energy saving and printed with beautiful pictures. They use electromagnetic waves to heat up spaces, which can save up to 60% of the cost spent on heating a room. Those waves of heat are absorbed by people and the surroundings.
The heaters are priced at around £80.
The company owners said that they have sensed the infrared heating market is going to be huge and they are trying to introduce the technology to the public in the UK.
The light wholesaler in 2017 registered a turnover over £2.7 million. With the launch of the new sister company, the brothers anticipates a turnover increase of £1 million to approximately £5 million this year.
