Reportedly, German high-tech company dilitronics, has stepped into the Asian market in June with the foundation of dilitronics Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong office is the first outside Europe. It specialises in LED control, and targets to further expand its sales activities in the rapidly expanding Asian market.

According to Meinrad Braun, Sales Director at dilitronics, explained that they found the Hong Kong officer mainly based on Asian customers’ interests in the development of energy-saving lighting concepts. LEDs are predestined for this and are thus the light source of the future. The motivation of companies to present innovative ideas for interior and exterior lighting is correspondingly high. The expanding Chinese market therefore offers extremely good sales potentials for our innovative LED control solutions.

The ESoLUX 2.0 Solar LED Controller is particularly interesting for the Chinese market. It presented in 2009 as the first of its kind worldwide, for the first time enables a completely energy self-sufficient operation of street lighting on the basis of LEDs.

Since dilitronics has had its volume production in China for quite some time, the new office will in future also handle supplier management for Asia. This central task has up to now been coordinated entirely from Germany.
