Lite-On
Global consolidated revenue of LiteOn and its subsidiary in August 2017 was NTD 18.62 billion, up 6% MoM and down 12% YoY. Because of the stable demand in the end market benefiting LiteOn’s core business, its consolidated revenue from January 2017 to August 2017 hit NTD 140.54 billion, down 2.4% YoY.

LiteOn expressed that its OPS division contributed to 21% of the total revenue in August. In particular, LED related sales kept on increasing- IR LED demand continues growing, LED component's market share expands, and LED automotive lighting shipment escalates.
LiteOn also pointed out that its IT products accounted for 57% of its consolidated revenue. Shipment of products such as high-end cloud computing servers, network communication equipment & power management systems, and power supplies for AI & smart home equipment grew. Therefore, the revenue of power supply in August continued to rise. IT business' revenue grew by nearly 10% in August. Meanwhile, storage device business generated 16% of the total revenue.
Unity Opto
Unity Opto's consolidated revenue reached NTD 506 million in August 2017, up 5% MoM. Its consolidated revenue from January 2017 to August 2017 was NTD 3.822 billion, down 30.06% YoY.

Unity Opto expressed that orders from LED's downstream industry recovered from July. In the second half of 2017, the firm will launch a new lineup of automotive lighting and automation sensor module. Therefore, the revenue in the third quarter is estimated to rise from the previous quarter.
Unity Opto expressed that the firm is undergoing strategic adjustment. Aside from existing backlight and lighting fixture product lines, Unity Opto's new strategy will differentiate and develop high-value-added product, so as to raise gross margin. Meanwhile, its new products will target specific market segments and stand out among competitors' products in China.
After strategizing and reorganizing resources for half a year, Unity Opto currently has concentrated its resources for Tire 1 international giants’ orders. Sales from these customers has occupied above 80% of this firm's revenue.
