After the announcement of Light + Building 2020 postponement, Messe Frankfurt announced the new date for the event. The largest fair of the lighting and building technology industry will take place from September 27 to October 2, 2020, at the Frankfurt exhibition center.

Meanwhile, the other lighting event in Europe, LED professional Symposium + Expo, has been cancelled. The event was planned from September 22 to 24, which would be a week before the new date of Light + Building. The management teams of the two events might have cooperated to set up the new date of Light + Building.

However, the coronavirus epidemic is spreading in Europe and has yet under control. More than hundred cases were confirmed in Germany in the past week. The event operation might still be challenging in September.
