PolyBrite International, developer of energy efficient Borealis® LED lamps and light systems announced today that the Borealis T8 LED Tube is listed on the DesignLights™ Consortium’s Qualified Products List (DLC QPL). The DLC QPL is a listing of independently verified high efficiency lighting products which provides a central place for utilities and energy efficiency program administrators to access qualified products for consideration in their incentive promotions throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The DLC’s main objective is to ensure that high-quality, energy-efficient lighting design becomes commonplace in all commercial lighting installations. High efficiency LED fixtures on the QPL, which includes categories of product types not currently covered by Energy Star, are eligible for state and utility energy efficiency program incentives.

In addition to being is listed on the DLC QPL, the Borealis T8 tube is UL Classified, ROHS Compliant, suitable for refrigeration applications and is warranted for an industry high of five years.
