RVLT Completes LED Retrofit Projects for Religious Organizations

Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: RVLT) ("Revolution Lighting"), a global provider of advanced LED lighting solutions, today announced that it has recently completed LED retrofit projects for religious facilities within New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland, totaling US $800,000. This includes the comprehensive LED lighting retrofit, led by its distributor GB Energie LED, of the Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church ("the Church") facilities, based in Temple Hills, Maryland.

GB Energie LED's comprehensive "turnkey" services began with the detailed testing and evaluation of LED solutions, including Revolution Lighting's LED products, within the church's facilities, concluding the LED retrofit would increase lighting efficiency by 70%, while increasing light output for enhanced safety and visibility. After the initial phases of project development, GB Energie LED worked closely with the church, managing all phases of the LED retrofit program including scope and budget development, final material selection, pursuit of project incentives, bidding and project management.

The lighting retrofit replaced antiquated HID and fluorescent lighting throughout the facilities including the chapel, administrative areas, warehouse and exterior lighting to deliver superior efficiency, longevity and light output. Lasting three times longer than conventional lighting, LED tubes have a rated lamp life of more than 70,000 hours, combined with Revolution Lighting's market leading 10-year warranty, to provide significant long term maintenance and energy savings.

"As a leading provider of LED lighting solutions, we are excited to partner with our distributor, GB Energie LED, allowing the Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church to achieve its energy efficiency goals," said Robert V. LaPenta, CEO and Chairman, Revolution Lighting. "The selection of Revolution Lighting among religious facilities demonstrates our unique expertise and capability of our market leading LED lighting solutions to transform lighting into a source of superior energy savings, quality light and well-being."

"We wanted to introduce the latest LED lighting solutions throughout our facilities that not only improve energy use, but improve the quality of light for our onsite staff, ministry and congregation members," said Trustee Mr. Lyn Eaton of Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. "GB Energie LED acted as an invested partner, providing the extensive time and effort necessary, in particular, throughout critical decision making processes to ensure a successful project."

Lighting consists of up to 15% of total annual energy use for the approximate 350,000 religious congregations throughout the U.S. The integration of LED lighting solutions, which can reduce lighting energy use by more than 60%, represents a significant opportunity for religious congregations, GB Energie LED and Revolution Lighting.
