Timothy Lester Appointed as Bridgelux’s Chief Financial Officer

Bridgelux has appointed Timothy Lester as chief financial officer (CFO).

'Tim has been an integral part of our team since he joined Bridgelux in 2010. He has more than demonstrated his ability to lead our company's financial operations, and has become a valuable operational asset to our business,' said Bill Watkins, Bridgelux's chief executive officer. 'Tim's strong background in finance, and experience in large, global lighting corporations as well as small start-up companies, will continue to strengthen our management team.'

Tim Lester has more than 25 years' experience in corporate finance. He joined Bridgelux in 2010 as vice president of finance to lead all the financial and accounting activities of the Company, and today also holds the position of vice president of operations.

Prior to joining Bridgelux, Mr. Lester served as vice president of finance and corporate controller at the ASIC design house eSilicon. From 1999 to 2007, he was corporate controller and treasurer at the LED manufacturer, Lumileds Lighting. Mr. Lester has also held leadership positions with Cost Plus World Market and Philips Electronics. Additionally, Mr. Lester worked in mid-market commercial lending at Household Finance after beginning his career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand. He received his masters of management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Marquette University. Mr. Lester is a CPA.
