Gunitech Smart Bluetooth LED Bulbs Wins Over Google

A small Taiwanese technology company Gunitech’s Bluetooth lighting controlled smart LED bulbs are now being used at Google’s headquarters in California, according to a Taiwanese Sanlih E-Television report.

Gunitech shipped its first batch of smart LED bulbs to Google headquarters. The smart LED bulbs can change into a multitude of colors either by touch or via smartphone Apps with Bluetooth connection.

“When Google was looking for a smart home appliance, it found our (lighting) solution,” said Gunitech Senior Marketing Director Hsu Heng-ruei. “They found out about our Bluetooth with Mesh technology…and our first shipment was to Google headquarters.”
