V2 Lighting Group to Debut CORE LED Lighting Fixture at LightShow/West

v2 Lighting Group, Inc., the high-end modern lighting company known for innovative designs and meticulous quality, today announced it will introduce its new LED lighting fixture, CORE, at LightShow/West in Los Angeles on October 26th and 27th.

CORE is a cylindrical luminaire that can be easily modified to fit in (or stand out) in any commercial or residential design project—from Art Deco to mid-century modern to futuristic. It incorporates the industry-leading Xicato LED module to deliver the highest quality light available on the market today.

The fixture’s CNC-machined aluminum shell is available with several standard or custom-designed laser-cut openings and can be anodized or powder coated in almost any color. The aluminum heat sink displayed inside the shell can be anodized in a matching or contrasting color. An optional internal reflector ring illuminates the heat sink and accentuates the design of the fixture.

“We created CORE to allow for significant design freedom,” says Chris Varrin, founder of v2 Lighting Group. “The cutout, finish, and color options alone offer more than 5,000 variations and we can deliver all of them without extra lead time or cost.”

The CORE series includes pendant, sconce, surface mount, mono point, track, and bollard versions, all of which are suitable for wet locations. CORE comes in two sizes: the CORE 200 ( 8” x 3.5”) and the CORE 300 (12” x 4.5”).

A wide range of Xicato LED Modules include 400, 700, 1000, 1300 and 2000 lumen packages with a choice of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K color temperatures, as well as >80 CRI or >95 CRI. The fixtures feature a toolless, field-changeable reflector system with 20°, 40° and 60° beam patterns. CORE is dimmable with standard phase control or 0-10v and can be dimmed smoothly from full brightness to 0%.

CORE can be ordered now. Currently in compliance testing, it will ship before the end of the year. For more information, contact Cheryl Cardamon at Cheryl@v2LightingGroup.com or (707) 383-4600, extension 104.
