Traxon Technologies Ltd. introduces its innovative Shield XB range for applications in extreme environments. The new high power LED lighting fixture range enlarges Traxon’s XB Luminaires line. The Shield range comprises the Wall Washer Shield XB-18 and XB-36 as well as Liner Shield XB- 18 and XB-27. IP66- rated and equipped with texture finished die-cast aluminum, the XB Shield range is able to perform in most extreme environments like snow, ice, and desert heat as well as heavy rain.
The high brightness LED fixtures are equipped with a professional heat dissipation mechanism, resulting in an improved operating temperature range from -20°C up to +60°C, leading to higher stability and longer LED lifetime. A built-in heat sensor provides additional thermal safety, which will automatically reduce the light output if the temperature limit is exceeded. Available in RGB and Dynamic White™, the Shield XB series features a wide range of available optics, giving extreme flexibility to meet customer needs for both wide spread and narrow beams. In addition, Traxon's innovative Dynamic White™ option allows to adjust and to optimize the color temperature of the white lighting fixtures to changing ambient conditions and usage, representing a perfect solution for architectural lighting applications.
The Shield XB range is compatible with Traxon’s TX Connect™ XB. TX Connect™ XB is a universal connector system across all TX XB products. The cables are easy to connect and ensure a less time-consuming installation process. The simple but elaborate system allows full flexibility in lighting installations, enabling combination of different TX XB fixtures without tedious adapt cables.
