American Navy Selected EvoLucia LED street lights for Green Initiatives

America Energy Conservation Program of the Navy has installed 120 W EvoLucia LED street lights. It's the first major government order for Sunovia.

The General Services Administration contract was awarded in earlier 2010. A marine base in North Carolina called Camp Lejeune was the first government customer of Sunovia. And Camp Lejeune had installed the EvoLucia LED streetlights in the campus in December, 2009.

According to Sunovia's VP of global sales, Jim Perkins, the company is pleased to aid the Navy in their mission to reduce energy consumption. And he added that more number of military bases would follow the green initiatives adopted by Souda Bay.
