SemiLEDs’ CFO Takes Replacement

Taiwan SemiLEDs Corp has declared that, on 2 January, David Young resigned as its chief financial officer, according to a filing announced by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Subsequently, on 4 January, the board of directors appointed Timothy Lin to serve as interim CFO while it conducts a search for a permanent replacement. Young has agreed to provide transition assistance to the firm for a period of time.

Lin has been deputy controller since joining the firm in October 2010. Previously, he was a senior manager at Ernst & Young (Taiwan) from October 2009 to October 2010 and a manager at Deloitte & Touche (Taiwan) from June 2006 to October 2009.
