Juropol Aims to Keep Up Sapphire Crystal Growth Furnace Sales in China in 2014

Polish sapphire crystal growth furnace manufacturer, Juropol, plans to maintain sale targets of 70 sapphire crystal growth furnaces in 2014. The company already successfully sold 70 furnaces as of 2013, out of these 50 furnaces were preorders. Looking ahead Juropol aims to sell 200 sapphire crystal growth furnaces by 2015. 

The Jahont series sapphire crystal growth furnaces are the company’s signature product, said Andrew Markiewicz, Production Manager, Juropol. The sapphire crystal growth furnace utilizes a newly crystal growth technology. The company has developed an integrated automated control system that can automatically heat and cool crystals during production process. By simplifying the manufacturing process, company crystal growth costs can be lowered while increasing profits. The system can be sold to clients, while the company continues to offer technical support. Jahont series sapphire crystal growth furnaces can mass produce 30, 60 and 90 kilogram (Kg) crystals. Production capacity are at 1,000, 3,000, and 5,000 mm TIE respectively. The company is still in the R&D phase for 110 Kg and above crystals.

Currently, Jahong series crystal growth furnaces cost between US$ 200,000 to US$ 400,000 per unit.

Juropol has been focused on supplying aluminum oxide, a sapphire crystal material, and equipment in EU, said Markiewicz. The company is also developing Kyropoulos (KY) sapphire growth methods and other new growths methods. The company has an advanced technology training center. Juropol aims to scale up KY crystal growth methods for sapphire, and raise yield rates.

According to understanding, Jurpol is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. The company started manufacturing sapphire crystals in 2007 and was the first to introduce KY method in Europe. By 2008, the company had developed a competitive sapphire crystal growth technology in the 30 Kg field. In the following year, the company started selling sapphire material in Taiwan, Japan, Korea and U.S. In 2010, the company began selling raw materials and sapphire crystal growth furnaces. The company business operations currently cover sapphire raw materials (aluminum oxide, pure alumnia feedstock), equipment (CCIF furnace, crystal growth furnaces), sapphire crystal and ingot sales, and technical support.
