Lumenpulse, a manufacturer of high-performance, specification-grade LED lighting solutions, has launched the Lumenfacade™ Inground, a breakthrough range of luminaires designed to simplify ground-recessed lighting applications, while still providing unmatched performance and versatility.
The Lumenfacade Inground uses an innovative dual housing design, which separates the optical chamber from the power supply, without ever compromising the IP68 housing. A plug and play connection reduces the likelihood of poor installation, protecting the luminaire from water infiltration and ensuring reliable, long-lasting performance.

“Buried uplights offer great design advantages, but also a number of installation challenges if not managed correctly. We took a different approach with the Lumenfacade Inground, designing the luminaire entirely around the attributes of LED to make installation safe and straightforward,” said Francois-Xavier Souvay, President and CEO at Lumenpulse.
“The result is the first truly stress-free, installation-friendly inground lighting product. It solves the challenges involved in ground-recessed lighting, but most importantly, it does so while still offering best-in-class performance, flexibility and life expectancy. It’s a real game changer,” Souvay said.

The Lumenfacade Inground provides unparalleled photometric performance for a ground-recessed luminaire. Among six optical distributions is an innovative, asymmetric wallwash that achieves exceptional uniformity (up to 3.2 :1 max:min) with very high illuminance (up to 12 fc or 128 lux, average) along with optimal spacing and setback requirements.
The luminaire also offers unmatched grazing capabilities, for the first time giving designers the means to accentuate rough textured surfaces and walls up to 100 ft (30m) high.
For full versatility, the Lumenfacade Inground offers an unprecedented array of features and options for a ground-recessed luminaire, including a choice of lengths, outputs, beam distributions, color temperatures, color-mixing systems (RGB and RGBW), and controls.

“The Lumenfacade Inground provides the same wealth of features that has made the Lumenfacade family such a success,” said Yvan Hamel, Lumenpulse’s Senior Vice President of Product Development. “Its performance and versatility have the potential to really change the way we think about ground-recessed lighting, making it a good option for wall washing, grazing, flood lighting and wayfinding applications,” he said.
The luminaire, which will be shown for the first time at this year’s Lightfair International convention in Las Vegas, offers an L70 lumen maintenance of 80,000 hours backed by a five-year limited warranty.
