Hubbell Lighting Expands Prescolite LED Lighting Product Portfolio

Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced that Prescolite has significantly expanded its LED lighting portfolio with the introduction of three brand new energy-efficient lighting solutions—the MSL mini step light, the AKTMLED track light and the LFA6LED downlight. The brand also announced it has upgraded two of its existing product lines—the LC6LED downlight and LBSLED surface mount.

“This is a robust and significant launch for Prescolite, and we’re confident the market will react positively to all of these new lighting solutions,” said Brad Rodeghiero, Product Manager at Prescolite. “As LED technology has moved forward, the range of potential applications has expanded, and Prescolite is ready to fill the need for efficient and quality lighting throughout the built environment.”

Prescolite’s MSL is the newest addition to the brand’s LiteStep Family, and the compact product is small enough to fit into a standard outlet box. Available in a variety of different finishes and styles including black, white, brushed nickel and antique bronze, it brings a stylish and superior light source to staircase areas as well as hallways, walkways or anywhere unobtrusive illumination is needed close to the ground. Approved for both interior and exterior applications, the MSL is also offered with louvers.

Prescolite expands its Architrak family with the addition of the AKTMLED fixture. Ideal for commercial lobby areas and department stores, the AKTMLED has an aesthetically pleasing sleek body style that still manages to blend in seamlessly with its architecture. Delivering 2500 lumens in both 80 and 90 CRI, the track head is compatible with forward phase and reverse phase dimming controls for greater savings and ambience setting.

The third new product from Prescolite is an addition to the brand’s popular LF series—the LFA6LED. Now available with a 6” recessed adjustable option, the LFA6LED is a specification grade LED downlight that features 35 degree vertical aiming and 362 degree rotational aiming. Ideal for a variety of indoor applications, the LF6LED features remote phosphor technology to offer superior color consistency from fixture to fixture.

In addition to the three new products listed, Prescolite has also elevated features on two of its popular LED products. The 1000 – 1800 lumen version of the LC6LED commercial LED downlight has been upgraded to achieve more than 65 lumens per watt while staying at a price comparable to equivalent compact fluorescent fixtures. Additionally, the energy-efficient LBSLEDA LiteBox LED surface mount is now available in multiple colors and kelvin temperatures.

All five of the products mentioned are ENERGY STAR® Qualified and come equipped with a five year warranty.
