Polaris PowerLED Technologies, a U.S. based LED technology company and licensor of display brightness control functionality, announced that it has agreed to enter into a settlement and license agreement with Samsung Electronics for resolving patent infringement litigation brought by Polaris PowerLED against Samsung. Taiwan-based LED packager Everlight announced that the High Court of Australia has rendered the final judgment on August 7, 2019, denying Nichia’s appeal request.
