The City of Tempe, Arizona, has selected US Lighting Tech (USLT) to supply efficient street lights for the energy-efficient street lighting program of the municipality.
USLT will supply the municipality 1,000 units of its Cobra 100 Series Induction Streetlight and the installation of the lights is anticipated to commence this month.
The company’s 70 W Cobra 100 Series induction streetlights will replace the present obsolete type of 125 W high pressure sodium and metal halide systems.
The induction lights are designed to save around 60% of energy and 80% of maintenance costs when compared to older type of lights.
