Sean Zhou, Regional Marketing Director at Philips Lumileds, noted household lighting takes up a considerable portion of the global LED market. He predicted it will become the focus for the Chinese market in the next two, three years. Nonetheless, affected by the low market acceptance and uncompetitive prices of LED household lighting at present, the market outlook remains lukewarm.
