Liteon Presents Full Innovative Lineup for Lighting Application at Photonics Festival 2014 in Taiwan

2014 Photonics Festival in Taiwan, LITE-ON Technology is presenting a new generation lineup of LED lighting components with the theme of 「Origin of Lights, LITE-ON Inspire Innovation」. The spotlight will be at the excellent 3000lm/$ market leading high efficiency light source product.

LITE-ON group CEO Warren Chen stressed that LED has always been one of the key growth drivers in LITE-ON group, and the all exhibited product lineup shows LITE-ON’s excellence in technology and well-thought blue print in different lighting market segments, such as, ultrathin backlight unit, general lighting, outdoor lighting, automotive and plant lighting in the future. Vice President, Wu Duen-Yi, visited LITE-ON’s booth after the opening ceremony, and CEO Warren Chen was greeting him to experience LITE-ON’s LED total solution from point, linear, to surface light source.

Foreseeing the trend of market, LITE-ON launched the revolutionary Chip Scale Package (CSP) series last year, the smallest packaging light source in the market, using “Flip Chip” base with metal eutectic process to ensure high efficacy and thermal stability during high voltage drive. And this year, LITE-ON successfully broke through technical barrier and launched a new 2W package with cool white 110lm/W, CRI 80, 3000lm/$ high efficiency product. This new product is able to optimize LED color mixing and 2nd optical design, to provide the cost competence for the customer lighting design. Furthermore, LITE-ON also exhibited small size high voltage PLCC components, high CRI HV LED, LED filament and the large size ceramic CoB series at the same time.
