LED Skin Regeneration System to Astonish Healthcare Market

MCI, Co., Ltd., a  Korean company developing and supplying skincare products with its own unique and dominant LED technology, has currently developed personal skincare equipment and launched it on the market.

LED light source for this equipment consists of seven colors and infiltration range or depth in the skin differs by color and so do its efficacy and effect. LED light source activates cells with skin disease and nutrients in the skin, with excellent effect in forming collagen, facilitating hair growth, removing flush and improving skin tone and blood circulation. 

Medical equipment using light-emitting diode (LED), which has emerged as the next generation source of light, is attracting great attention. It is known that medical devices in application of LED

light source maximize their effect and have no side effects because they are not harmful to the human body.

According to the data from NASA, technology using LED light source has increased the growth of plants over twice. Besides, results of study have appeared that LED light source is most suited for growing crops for the cosmonaut’s daily food. 

In addition, Survey of Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) on global patents shows that other effects than on the skin, such as psychological effect of LED light source, are gradually being proved. 

MCI’s products had its safety and validity certified through clinical experiments conducted by Jeonnam University Hospital in Korea.

MCI is taking the lead in its popularization by developing LED light skin care system, which is only used by hospitals and clinics for the use of home and skincare shop in Korea. To expand its business into global market, MCI plans to develop and export specialized models for each country especially including China while its acquiring FTA approval.
