Luminaire Digitalization Focuses on Functionality

One of the top themes at Light + Building 2016 is the balance between design and function. Under the proposed themes in Hall 3, each luminaire designer and manufacturer featured their products specialty and unique market positions. Digitalization of light and human centric lighting has been a popular topic in recent years.

Based on LEDinside observation at the exhibition, lighting designers also accurately showcased the effects of illumination. A good example is shown in the following photo, where an artwork is illuminated by merely four spotlights without unwanted glare and perfectly shows the contrast between the black background and the white art work.
