“Making buildings brilliant isn’t just about smarter lighting,” said Enlighted CEO Joe Costello. “It’s about giving these buildings truly brilliant sensory systems that provide insight and actionable data into what is happening in the space, as well as improving occupant experience - which is much more expansive. The good news is lighting is an conduit for this technology.”

There is symbiotic relationship between lighting and the IoT. Lighting gives position and power, and IoT sensors give every light intelligence.  However, Enlighted sensors go beyond only enhanced smart lighting capabilities, with advanced software applications providing building owners and occupants unparalleled insight into their operations, including space utilization, asset tracking, HVAC, and more. To date, the Enlighted system has captured greater than 10 terabytes of data, making the buildings it is installed in truly brilliant. This rich stream of data is used continuously to improve the Enlighted system’s intelligence.

Through Enlighted’s IoT Platform, building owners can achieve a true, interconnected sensory system for their buildings rather than making only one component – lighting – more intelligent.

Costello will open Lightfair’s first-ever East Coast IoT & Smart Lighting forum with a keynote at 8 a.m. on Wed., May 10 in room 113, discussing the advancing role of the commercial IoT and lighting industry’s opportunities. Enlighted will feature its IoT hardware, software and application demos at booth #3849.

The company will also take part in a major announcement on the convergence of the lighting and IoT industries Tues., May 9 in room 120C. Its purpose is to enable the commercial building industry to future-proof buildings with smart building technology. Media interested in attending, email morgan@sweeneypr.com.

Straight from Silicon Valley, Enlighted boasts almost a decade of experience in commercial IoT with its system deployed in leading Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, LinkedIn, Uber, Gensler and more. To learn more about Enlighted, visit www.enlightedinc.com.
