Velodyne Lidar announced that it will introduce and demonstrate its cutting-edge LiDAR sensor technology at CES 2019 in the Las Vegas next week. The company will showcase a wide array of products, including new products to address directional and short-range sensing with trailblazing technology and performance. Moreover, it is going to announce its collaborations with strategic partners and present some new products for the first time.
With its LiDAR technologies, Velodyne will demonstrate how LiDAR sensors help to advance vehicle autonomy and road safety. It is presenting Velodyne Alpha Puck™ and Velodyne Velarray™. The Alpha Puck is a sensor specifically made for autonomous driving and advanced vehicle safety at highway speeds. And the Velarray provides long-range object detection and generates a richly-detailed directional image.
