Young Optics showcases wearable AR HUD module
Taiwan-based Young Optics partners Digilens to produce display modules for AR HUD. The module adopts DLP projecting technology which can generate a bigger eye box compared to other HUD. The LED light source of the product creates a brightness of 5,000 nits. Young Optics aims to connect the AR glasses to portable devices such as phone and tablet for charging and operation to eliminate the weight and size of battery and other systems, which allows design flexibility.
