[News] Valeo Showcases the Future of Safer, Cleaner and Smarter Two-Wheeler Mobility at EICMA 2025

News Source:

At EICMA 2025, taking place November 4-9 at Fiera Milano, Milan, Italy, Valeo invites visitors to Hall 11, Booth G38 to experience how its latest technologies are reshaping the future of two-wheeler mobility — enhancing the thrilling nature of riding with safer, cleaner, and smarter innovation.

“Today, safety, connectivity, and sustainability define a new chapter of two-wheeler mobility,” said Marc Vrecko, CEO of Valeo Brain Division. “Valeo is leading this transformation with automotive innovations that enhance safety and performance — without compromising the thrill of the ride.”

Building on decades of expertise in automotive electrification and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Valeo brings proven technologies to the fast-growing two-wheeler market. From autonomous riding assistance to next-generation electric powertrains, the Group is accelerating the shift toward sustainable mobility.

Driving with Confidence with the Valeo Vision System
At the core of Valeo’s innovation, the Group displays its new generation of advanced riding assistance system technologies optimized for two-wheelers:

  • Valeo vision system utilizes high-resolution smart cameras paired with Valeo’s cutting-edge computer vision algorithms. This technology is capable of real-time detection of vehicles, vulnerable road users, traffic signs, traffic lights, and lanes. This capability is essential for core rider assistance functions, such as Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Traffic Speed Limitation, and Automatic High Beam (AHB)..
  • Valeo vision system and radar-based system can both support critical warnings, such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Distance Warning (DW), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and Rear Collision Warning (RCW). It covers a comprehensive scalability approach for Rider Assistance, from Entry-Level to Premium market needs.

Visitors have the opportunity to discover these breakthroughs on a Hero XOOM 160, an adventure-style maxi scooter equipped with both systems, demonstrating how technology can enhance road safety while fully embracing the emotion of riding.

Smart Connection: Integrated Cluster Experience
Valeo also presents its Connected Cluster — its next-generation smart dashboard that serves as both a display and a connectivity hub. By integrating essential driving information and connected services into one interface, it enhances the riding experience while reducing hardware complexity and cost through smart function grouping.

Powering the Next-Generation of Electric Two-Wheelers
A pioneer in electrification, Valeo continues to shape the future of sustainable mobility for two-wheelers. At the show, the Group presents two cutting-edge 48V powertrain systems:

  • Integrated Smart Motor Module for 2-Wheelers (iSMMG) — a highly integrated electric powertrain that combines exceptional efficiency, compactness, and durability, offering riders powerful yet smooth performance.
  • Belt Starter Generator (iBSG) — already powering 30% of mild-hybrid vehicles worldwide and now entering the two-wheeler market. Featured on the BMW CE 02, it delivers agile, responsive acceleration perfectly suited to urban mobility.

Valeo’s integrated vision for the 2-wheeler market will be illustrated by a static demo motorcycle featuring a 4 kW electric motor, a smart connected cluster with vehicle telemetry and access control, and an advanced radar and camera system for enhanced rider safety.
