Historic Dutch Kinderdijk Windmills Get Makeover Using Colorful LED Lighting

From September 7 - 20 the 19 historic windmills in Kinderdijk (The Netherlands), which are listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, will be spectacularly lit by Philips and Technische Unie using colorful and energy-efficient LED lighting.

To properly do justice to these symbols of Dutch history, each windmill will be lit with different LED lighting in its own unique way, thereby creating contrasting atmospheres. The official opening of the LED lit windmills will be on September 7th at 21.30 in Kinderdijk.
