Hubbell Industrial Lighting Showcases LED Grow Lights at Cultivate’14

Cultivate’14, one of the horticulture industry’s largest tradeshows, served as the perfect venue to display Hubbell Industrial Lighting’s new NutriLED, an LED grow light.

Utilizing the latest in LED technology, the 72 watt NutriLED is up to 80 percent more efficient than fluorescent and HID sources, and is able to target specific red and blue wavelengths—essentially the only colors required for plant growth.

NutriLED will generate higher harvest yields and more frequent harvests due to the optimization of chlorophyll absorption enabled by the monochromatic and optimized wavelengths delivered.

By eliminating the need to tune or cycle lamps, maintenance is reduced and the fixture’s modular design allows for easy mounting and scalability in a horizontal or vertical mounting configuration.
