Two LED luminaires from Acuity Brands were selected to receive a 2017 Lighting for Tomorrow (LFT) award. The annual competition was created in 2002 to recognize the best decorative, energy-efficient luminaires in the market, and is organized by the American Lighting Association, the Consortium for Energy Efficiency and Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.

GRWL LED Grow Light by Lithonia Lighting received an honorable mention in the “Emerging Technologies” category. The GRWL Grow Light is an aesthetically pleasing, multi-spectrum LED luminaire with switchable color options for indoor gardening year-round. The Grow Light provides several options for a variety of growing needs depending on plant species, season of growth and user preference. It includes a connector for linking multiple luminaires in side-to-side or end-to-end configurations.
