WELLMAX: Dare to be Different

On Oct 15 2016, when Canton Fair was held in Guangzhou Pazhou Complex, a giant 160cm-tall LED bulb model immediately drew global buyers’ attention. This is another brand-new LED bulb image Shanghai Wellmax Lighting Industry (WELLLMAX) rolled out on the autumn Canton Fair.

Innovative Products—at least 2 original LED bulbs per year

For over 29 years, WELLMAX has been growing with innovation as its driving force. Just like the unique big bulb statue this time on the booth, WELLMAX is a distinctive star company in the lighting industry. It is renowned as the LED Bulb Expert, and is one of the few brands who enjoyed success during the Canton Fair.

Unlike most lighting enterprises who brought out lines of products ranging from CFLs to LEDs to panels and tubes, WELLMAX’s booth displayed only a few lines of products, and they were all LED bulbs. Delicate and concise booth layout, professional sales team, exquisite product lines, together they showcased WELLMAX’s high-end brand image. The eye-catching booth design attracted fair attendees passing by, crowds kept flooding into the booth, making it the most popular booth at Hall 13.2 so far.

An American importer told us, “I can find very special bulbs at WELLMAX. The differentness makes them stand out and competitive.”

Expert Image—gain praises even from Chinese competitors

As early as in the nineteenth century, WELLMAX started to attend the Canton Fair. It is fair to say that the Canton Fair witnessed the growth of WELLMAX from small to big, from young to mature. As a fast-growing company, WELLMAX attaches great importance to the Canton Fair. Now WELLMAX is a leading exporter of LED bulbs in Shanghai, selling to over 200 clients from more than 50 countries worldwide.

Unlike large and all-embracing lighting companies, WELLMAX has always been focusing on bulbs. WELLMAX started to grow in the field of LEDs since the early 2000s, and was soon recognized as the LED Bulb Expert because of the company’s expertise on design and manufacturing LED bulbs. After 29 years’ development, WELLMAX has successfully built the world’s first comprehensive process management system for LED bulbs. Their pre-sale engineers answer to clients’ demand and questions promptly, and followed by fast purchasing, production, and delivery. WELLMAX recruited experienced talents from companies such as GE, Siemens, and Philips to strengthen the team’s expertise on LED. The company’s LED R&D Lab was rewarded with “Witnessed Testing Lab” by DEKRA & SGS. This kind of concentration brings WELLMAX on a fast track to become the leading brand in LED bulb field.

“WELLMAX’s LED products are very ‘good looking’, I have just started to work with WELLMAX, and their products can meet my market’s quality requirements. I am very happy with their after-sales service.” A European client said.

Focus on the Knock-out Product—garner endorsement through word of mouth

In March 2016, WELLMAX became the first company in China, first group of companies globally, to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with Samsung Electronics (SAMSUNG). As the Founder and CEO of WELLMAX, Wang, Yamin said, “The partnership between us and Samsung Electronics will further enhance WELLMAX’s brand value, allowing us to take a leap forward on product and services, and strengthening our positioning as the LED Bulb Expert.”

Since then, WELLMAX has rolled out series of new product lines that incorporated SAMSUNG’s newest LED chip technology. On the biennial Light+Building Fair earlier this year, WELLMAX released the smallest 810lm full-beam-angle LED bulb—the Ultron. This spring, WELLMAX had a global debut for its new high-power LED series - the Rocket. Now on the autumn Canton Fair, the stunning 4-angle shaped product Aero bulb became a hit. As another breakthrough in LED bulb technology, the production process for Aero bulb is tuned to be faster and simpler, while its “lighter than ever” design, unique shape and innovative heat dissipation solution is a treat in many ways. That’s how Aero nailed it as a bestseller in overseas market.

Over 30% of buyers who came to WELLMAX’s booth said that they are recommended to this brand by their personal contacts: a word-of-mouth effect underpinning the strategies of WELLMAX’s high quality strategy and reliable image.

WELLMAX has been one of the top LED lighting equipment suppliers in global LED lighting market boasting concentration on LED bulbs. Through years of endeavor and dedication, WELLMAX has achieved an increasing share in the global LED lighting market and continued to modify and improve its luminaires and services to best serve the needs of global consumers.
