Seenov Inc. Announces the Launch of Mobillyo

Seenov is excited to announce a new level of freedom for the Arduino® platform – the Mobillyo. The innovative Mobillyo board has an ATMega32U4 chip for compatibility with the Arduino IDE and software while adding a rechargeable battery, a solar panel interface and a Nordic Semiconductor nrf52 Bluetooth Low Energy radio interface.

Mobillyo will be launched with a Kickstarter campaign (www.kickstarter.com/projects/1340922673/2141110106?token=ee9d837a) on April 12th, 2017. At the same time it will be official that Mobillyo is an Arduino compatible product. "Creating an Arduino compatible product was an easy choice for us since it ensures that Mobillyo gets recognized as a high quality and reliable product," said Mr. Arpin, founder and CEO of Seenov.

Seenov believes that the Mobillyo will let makers and DIYers create new applications not tied to a physical computer. "We called it Mobillyo because like a mobile phone, you can communicate with it wirelessly and operate it on its battery for many hours," said Mr. Arpin.

If you compare the Mobillyo with an Arduino Leonardo, you get the same processor plus a battery, plus a solar panel and plus a BLE in the same form factor. Since it is an Arduino compatible product, you can be assured it is compatible with the Arduino IDE so creating and uploading sketches is fast and simple.

"We went further than just adding a Bluetooth radio," said Mr. Arpin. Indeed, we created an iPhone app that provides a wireless user interface. The Mobillyo App has 4 virtual LEDs, 4 switches, 4 push buttons, 4 sliders and a text area to display messages. All these objects combine to create a very powerful user interface. Breadboards with jumpers, switches and LEDs are a thing of the past. An Android App is also planned.
