Dialight Adds 45W DuroSite® LED Low Bay Fixture to Industrial Lighting Family

High-Efficiency Unit Designed for Direct Replacement of 70W to 100W HID Sources to Deliver Better Light Output at Half the Energy Usage, Ideal for Cold Storage & Parking Garage Applications

Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today announced the debut of its new 45W DuroSite®  LED Low Bay fixture that offers exceptional energy efficiency, superior durability and precision optics. Specifically designed for optimum light output at mounting heights under 15 feet and maximum durability in the harshest conditions, the new 45W Low Bay is an ideal lighting solution for cold storage applications.

Delivering 84 lumens per watt, the 45W Low Bay is the newest addition to Dialight’s complete line of high and low bay LED fixtures offering a wide range of illumination options—from 3,800 to 17,000 lumens—for many indoor and outdoor applications.

Designed to easily replace traditional metal halide, high pressure sodium and mercury vapor fixtures by using existing electrical hangars and conduit, Dialight’s 45W Low Bay features exclusive low-bay optics that offer a broader distribution of light to improve visibility and, in some cases, reduce overall fixture count.

“Our LED lighting fixtures have already proven to be an ideal lighting option for the world’s most rugged applications, virtually eliminating the maintenance and performance issues common with typical HID units and delivering exceptional overall cost savings,” said Roy Burton, Dialight Group Chief Executive. “This new 45W Low Bay is exponentially more efficient and, because of the instant-on capability, can easily be equipped with occupancy sensors as well as dimming options to further reduce energy usage and cost.”

Available in both cool white and neutral white, the low-profile 45W Low Bay is ruggedized with a powder-coated aluminum body and polycarbonate lens that withstands impact, shock and vibration within a sealed design. The unit is virtually maintenance free, backed by Dialight’s five-year full-performance warranty, eliminating costly bulb changes that can interrupt production, and the environmental concerns of mercury vapor and fluorescent fixtures. The IP66 rated 45W Low Bay is compatible with new and existing pendant, swivel bracket, stanchion and ceiling mount installations, both indoor and outdoor.

For most of history, humans used flames to generate light. Eventually, they discovered that a super-heated metal element in a light bulb could produce useful illumination, only for this technology to be superseded by the LED. One common featur... READ MORE
