On December 9, the three-day Live Design International (LDI) show concluded successfully in Las Vegas, USA. As the final major industry event of the year, Absen made a strong appearance with a lineup of all-star products, highlighting its technical expertise and comprehensive application capabilities in the stage and rental market. The showcase attracted significant attention and earned broad recognition from industry professionals and visitors on site.

LDI is the largest stage lighting and audio technology exhibition in North America and a key platform for showcasing cutting-edge stage technologies and innovative products. The event brings together technical experts, buyers, and exhibitors from the stage, lighting, and audio sectors to exchange insights on the latest industry trends and developments. At the show, AbsenLive presented a range of solutions designed for the high-end stage and rental market, including the SA Series, JP Pro Series, and PL V3 Series. With distinctive designs and compelling on-site demonstrations, these products stood out throughout the exhibition.

At the center of Absen’s exhibition area, a creatively designed main stage display built with the SA2.6 and SA2.6-C became a focal point of the show.

Designed for high-end product launches, public relations events, and corporate functions, the SA2.6 is a lightweight rental LED display tailored for premium indoor stage applications. Featuring a high-strength composite structure that combines carbon fiber with a die-cast magnesium cabinet, it delivers both durability and a refined, high-end appearance. With a brightness of 1,500 nits, 16-bit grayscale, a 7,680 Hz refresh rate, and wide viewing angles, the SA2.6 meets the demanding visual requirements of indoor stage environments.

The SA-C Series is AbsenLive’s first creative flexible rental LED display. As a sub-series of the SA Series, it can be seamlessly combined with both long and short SA cabinets to create a wide range of creative stage configurations. A fully interchangeable power box design helps reduce spare parts requirements and overall operating costs. As the industry’s first flexible rental display to adopt a classic gear-driven mechanism, the SA-C Series supports adjustable curvature from -30° to +30°, with 25 adjustable angle positions at 1.25°increments. This allows for the creation of diverse and dynamic stage shapes, meeting the customized needs of various event scenarios.

In touring applications—where high intensity and strict performance standards are the norm—display stability, image quality, and installation efficiency are critical. The JP Pro Series rental products showcased by Absen at LDI were designed specifically to address the core challenges of the touring market, offering a systematic and purpose-built solution.

Developed for touring stages, the JP8 Pro rental LED display features a 50% transparency rate, delivering high outdoor brightness while creating a strong sense of depth and openness on stage. Its 1000 × 1000 mm cabinet weighs just 20.5 kg. When paired with an 8-in-1 dolly system, it enables fast, safe deployment for touring productions, significantly improving setup and tear-down efficiency. In addition, the JP8 Pro offers an integrated wind-bracing system and a 6-in-1 integrated dolly solution, supporting hanging heights of up to 24 meters even under Beaufort Scale 8 wind conditions.

In addition to the JP Pro Series, Absen also introduced several new rental products at LDI, delivering differentiated solutions for a wide range of application scenarios.

NT Pro V2 Series
Featuring an ultra-lightweight design, the NT Pro V2 Series delivers more than four times the LED load-bearing capacity while improving installation efficiency by 20%. With broadcast-grade visual performance, the series supports fast deployment and helps rental operators shorten return on investment cycles.

PL V3 Series
Designed for professional outdoor applications, the PL V3 Series offers a 7,680 Hz refresh rate, 16-bit grayscale, and up to 5,000 nits of brightness with black LED technology, delivering outstanding image quality in demanding environments. With an IP65 protection rating, the series ensures reliable performance across outdoor touring, stage productions, and music festivals, even under challenging weather conditions.

SA-B Series
The SA-B Series features a 500 × 500 mm lightweight die-cast magnesium cabinet weighing just 7.2 kg. Its tool-free 90°interlocking design enables fast assembly of creative configurations such as L-shaped and cube structures, significantly improving installation efficiency while expanding creative freedom for stage designers.

As emerging stage formats such as virtual production and immersive live performances continue to gain momentum, rental LED displays are evolving from simple visual backdrops into the core of stage creativity. With a long-standing focus on stage display technology and real-world applications, Absen has developed a comprehensive rental product portfolio covering both indoor and outdoor solutions across multiple pixel pitches.
