EcoLightTech Asia 2013 to Highlight Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Lighting Technologies

Thailand’s N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer (NEO), supported by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), will be holding the first EcoLightTech Asia 2013 during November 13-15, 2013 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, to promote an international tradeshow for green technologies, energy efficiency, and innovations in lighting.

As part of its industry focus, EcoLightTech Asia 2013 aims to be the perfect trading platform towards energy sufficiency, eco-friendly, and sustainable lighting for the world. This is reflected in the upward trend of LED technology utilization, as LED lights efficiently emit more light, use only 2 -17 watts of electricity, and have a lifespan over 50,000 hours, which in turn save as much as 70% in energy consumption. The European Union, United States, China, Japan, Switzerland, South Korea, and Canada have already begun replacing and forbidding the use of incandescent lights. Thailand is advocating the replacement of incandescent bulbs in households and commercial infrastructures since 2007.

Highlights of the show include LED Product Showcase, which features popular products and best-selling items of different organizations, each providing the visitors with information of their distinctive features. The tradeshow offers several helpful technical seminars as well. For instance, the Eco Lighting Workshop aims to educate the visitors on the LED equipment and technology, cost management, breakeven, and proper design for utilization. Most notably, foreign visitors who wish to learn more about energy-efficient LED technology can apply early for the “Eco Light Technology Field Trip” to visit the leading energy-saving organizations in Bangkok. The applicants will learn how to manage cost and innovation that LEDs can provide for them. Moreover, visitors will enjoy meeting one-on-one thru business matching service with leading companies, help them get to know each company more.

Panithan Bumrasarinpai, NEO’s Senior Vice President, added, “EcoLightTech Asia 2013 will be held for the first time in Thailand under three concepts: Eco – energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, Light – lighting exhibition, and Tech – the best and latest innovation and technology from around the world, all freshly and comprehensively presented, namely ready-to-use products, related service, and manufacturing pieces, seminar, exchange of the latest technical knowledge and innovation application to best suit each usage.
