Plessey announced that it has achieved a significant milestone in the development of its monolithic Micro LED displays with its backplane partner, Jasper Display Corp (JDC). The two companies announced their strategic partnership in September 2018. Plessey Semiconductors has reported its partnership with Jasper Display Corp (JDC) for using JDC’s silicon backplane to drive the monolithic Micro LED displays produced by Plessey’s proprietary GaN-on-Si wafers.
