BenQ moves launching own-brand LED products back to the first half of 2011

Recently, it was reported that the time of BenQ’s launching own-brand products would move back to the first half of 2011 from the end of 2010. With the BenQ Group's original plan, it was to make Lextar Electronics set up an LED lighting brand and develop LED light bulbs, light bars and other products. But, Lextar has become an OEM partner. So, BenQ Group has chosen BenQ to run the LED lighting brand without conflict.

BenQ launches VA-panel LED monitors

BenQ launched 16:9 full HD VA-panel LED monitors, the 24-inch - EW2420 and VW2420 LED's and the 21.5 inch VW2220. Compared to a regular Twisted Nematic (TN) panel before notable brightness and color shifts, the monitors offer wider viewing angle (178º/178º), so they can be used along more angles.   The EW and VW series also feature true 3,000:1 native contrast ratio on a true 8-bit panel.

BenQ to release the V2210 and V2410 LED backlit monitors in Japan

Recently, BenQ has announced a couple of 16:9 LCD monitors that feature LED backlighting, the 21.5-inch V2210 and the 24-inch V2410 in Japan. Both new displays have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, the Senseye image enhancement technology, plus DVI and HDMI outputs. BenQ has not yet reveal any prices but said that the V2210 will hit (Japanese) stores on December 25th, and the V2410 will follow on the 30th.
