Among all the booths of South Korean manufacturers, Seoul Semiconductor and Maltani’s booths were the biggest.

The scale of Taiwanese manufacturers’ exhibitions was small in this year’s Lighting Fair, which were mostly LED components, LED light bulbs and LED PAR lights; some manufacturers also exhibited new LED tubes.

After the announcement of American Energy Star’s LED light bulb criteria, more and more LED light bulbs manufacturers shift their focus from luminous efficacy to luminous quality, with increasing emphasis placed on beam angle of LED light bulbs.

According to LEDinside's investigation, Japanese manufacturers are categorized into the following types: lighting manufacturers, LED packaging manufacturers, LED materials manufacturers and new entrants, including major manufacturers such as Panasonic, Toshiba and Hitachi. The main focus of Japanese manufacturers is on the indoor lighting and the commercial lighting areas.

Lighting Fair 2011 Series (I) – A Tour of Lighting Fair 2011   The 10th Japan Lighting Fair 2011, which is held every two years, commences at Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center.
