Tridonic Jennersdorf GmbH, a subsidiary of Tridonic GmbH & Co KG, Dornbirn and thus part of the Zumtobel Group lighting group, has filed a lawsuit against the company S-KON eKontor24 GmbH based in Germany. The subject of the legal action brought before Munich District Court is the sale of smartphones manufactured by HTC of Taiwan.  

A new light ceiling spans the counter hall at Valiant bank at Bahnhofplatz in Bern. But instead of daylight, the large-format ceiling panels are backlit by LED technology from Tridonic. With the new CLE Tunable White modules, Tridonic is adding components for round wall and ceiling luminaires to its tunable white portfolio. The colour temperature can be set dynamically between 3000 K and 6000 K, with the luminous flux remaining constant.

Tridonic has given its sixth generation SLE LED modules a chip upgrade and at the same time expanded its colour palette. The ART, FOOD and FASHION colours, each optimised to a specific application, have now been joined by the TINGE light colour which makes warm tones appear even more vibrant. All the versions benefit from greater efficiency in high-output mode and are now available with a 17 mm light emission surface.

Warehouses, factories and multi-storey car parks all need robust luminaires that provide high lumen values. Industrial lighting has to be energy-efficient and durable. Tridonic offers the right LED light sources for diffused lighting in the form of its CLE G1 ADV IND and QLE G1 ADV IND modules. A luminous flux of 26,000 lumen per module and three different colour temperatures of 4,000, 5,000 and 6,500 K make it easier to develop and manufacture LED high-bay luminaires for industrial applications.

One DALI address is sufficient for performing lighting control, dimming and the prescribed emergency lighting tests and for documenting them centrally – for example via connecDIM or the x/e-touchPANEL. The devices are compatible with the EXCITE series of LED Drivers from Tridonic and can be easily integrated in any installation.

The new generation of the LED modules CLE Quadrant G2 ADVANCED continues the tried and tested Quadrant concept for round ceiling and pendant luminaries, but now offers even greater flexibility. As miniaturised light sources, LEDs offer great design freedom to luminaire manufacturers.
