Hong Kong International Lighting Fair ‘09 Features High CRI and power-saving LEDs

The HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair opened with 1,788 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions.

The LED Lighting Zone has attracted 440 exhibitors offering a range of LED lighting products. Companies from Belize, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States and the United Kingdom are taking part in the zone.

Among the well known LED lighting companies, running from name brands of Philips and Osram, to leading LED packaging players including Cree, Nichia, Citizen and Seoul Semiconductor displayed on site, Taiwan vendors include Edison, ProLight, Neo-Neon and HightHouse.

According to LEDinside’s observation at HK light Fair, major exhibit LED products at this year’s fair range from LED decorative lighting, spot lamp, street lamp to the replacement lamp for incandescent lamp and fluorescent lamp, including E27 and T-bar lamp. Among, the CRI and power saving are focuses of these replacement lamp.
