TAIWAN LIGHTING BRIGHTENS THE WORLD

Organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, the Taiwan International Lighting Show, also known as TILS, will be held from 12th to 15th of April, 2017 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, in conjunction with LED Taiwan 2017. The 2-in-1 fair, implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) , Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association (TLFEA), and SEMI Taiwan, will showcase the lighting products and services with topics “Smart Lighting“ and “Lighting Design” , to collect together LED lights, smart lighting, medical lights, automotive lighting system, IR lights, lighting for agriculture & aquaculture, High-Brightness LED, Laser, Sapphire, LED components, etc. under one roof.

Lighting has been the most promising application for LEDs. The global market size of LED lighting is projected by HIS Markit (U.S.) and IEK (Taiwan) to explosively surge to US$92.3 billion by 2019 from some US$40 billion in 2015. In the scenario, Taiwan, the world’s top LED maker with outstanding production and R&D capabilities, will play an increasingly important role in the global supply of LED lighting.

TILS 2017 will entitle you a full scope of lighting and LEDs industries and spotlight the latest lighting tech, products and design in line with the theme “Smart Design, Radiant Life”. Prospective visitors will be given a close look at innovative, marketable lighting products developed by Taiwanese suppliers. The 4-day exhibitions, in addition, will bring together industry experts and potential buyers in concurrent activities and events, such as one-on-one procurement meetings, innovative Products Awards, tSSL Seminar, lighting seminars and workshops, new product launch, etc.

As Taiwan’s leading lighting and LED trade fairs, TILS and LED Taiwan 2016 together hosted 238 exhibitors manning 748 booths with attendance of 902 international buyers and 11,815 domestic trade visitors, making it the most professional exhibit in the field of illumination and LED production in Taiwan.
