Larson Electronics has launched the LEDLB-24E-VISAMBER LED light bar, which is designed to provide dual colour output like amber and white from a single lamp.
The LEDLB-24E-VISAMBER LED light bar allows operators to produce standard lighting as well as application specific coloured light output using a single LED fixture.
It features four rows of Cree LEDs, with two rows producing white output and two rows producing bright amber light. This dual colour LED design allows operators to connect the lamp to a multi-position switch, which gives them the ability to run the light as a standard white lamp or with amber coloured output for signaling or beacon type applications.
The light can be useful for hunters, emergency responders, military and law enforcement professionals, and many others. Featuring unbreakable polycarbonate lenses, the light bar has the ability to withstand extremes of heat and cold without any effect on operation. It can also be used for rugged use with extruded aluminum housing.
The entire lamp is IP68 rated waterproof to three meters of submersion, making it a suitable choice for mounting to vehicles and boats where exposure to driving rain and submersion is common. It contains advanced LED drivers which allow direct connection to voltages ranging from 9 to 32 volts DC and the addition of pulse controllers for flashing, dimming and strobing effects which are useful in military and security operations.
Mounting for these LED lights is provided by an included adjustable stainless steel u-bracket and stud which allows operators to install the light with a single mounting bolt and adjust the lamps position once installed.
Its wiring is also simple, with two pig tails fitted with Deutsch IPD / LADD DT04-2P connectors for tight and secure connections. Designed to provide a convenient way to manage general illumination as well as beacon and signaling operation with a single fixture, the LEDLB-24E-VISAMBER is suitable for a wide variety of applications including military, law enforcement, security, and marine installation.
