Samsung Sets up the Largest Smart LED Signage in South America

Samsung Electronics installed the a LED screen measured 7.7 meters tall and 63 meters wide in the Plaza Norte shopping mall in Lima, Peru. With the largest LED screen installed in South America, Samsung expects to expand its large-size screen into the markets.

The company decided to implement XA160F outdoor, which consists of 528 cabinets and has an area of 487 square meters, to Plaza Norte shopping mall. The product is featured with 16 mm pixel pitch for high quality resolution and its brightness level deter the interference of light, maintaining levels of 7,700 nits. Moreover, to ensure the durability of the outdoor screen under different weather conditions such as earthquake and rain, it comes with the IP65 waterproof and dustproof standard and an anti-UV treatment.

After installed the largest curved LED signage in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung shows its leading position in large LED display market again by building the smart LED screen at largest shopping mall in Peru which has 4 million visitors a month. Samsung hopes the LED signage in Lima will turn into another iconic landmark of the area, like Piccadilly Circus in London and Time Square in New York City.
