Deal | Lenovo Slim Pro 9i featuring stunning 3.2K Mini-LED panel, Core i9-13905H, and RTX 4060 discounted by massive US$350

News Source:

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i 16 is currently experiencing a considerable discount of US$350 at B&H Photo. Thanks to a powerful CPU and GPU combo in the 14-core Core i9-13905H and RTX 4060, the machine should crunch through content production tasks while also being able to play modern AAA games at FHD/QHD with elevated graphics.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has two M.2 slots for storage expansion.

The 2023 Lenovo Slim Pro 9i laptop is an excellent content-creation machine with good construction, powerful internals, and an amazing display. The machine which got a “very good” rating of 88% in our review is currently on sale at B&H Photo for a whopping US$350 off bringing the final price down to US$1,799 (via slickdeals).

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i SKU on sale is equipped with a Core i9-13905H CPU, an RTX 4060 GPU, 32 GB of LPDDR5x-6400 memory, and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Gracing the front of the device is a spacious 16-inch 16:10 Mini-LED display that boasts a 3.2K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nit of peak HDR brightness. Additionally, there is a 5 MP webcam that supports Windows Hello facial recognition alongside Wi-Fi 6E and a 75 Wh battery.

Based on our review, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i 16 is a stellar device in almost all respects. The laptop is well-built with good craftsmanship and a slim profile. Similarly, Lenovo has also nailed the inputs with a good keyboard that incorporates a numpad and a big, accurate trackpad. Finally, the notebook also has touch controls thanks to a touch-sensitive display.

Talking about the display, the 16-inch 3.2K Mini-LED panel is a treat to behold. We measured an excellent maximum brightness of 637 nits and an average brightness of 618 nits in SDR mode. The brightness boosted to more than 1,300 nits in HDR mode. The contrast was similarly impressive with a reading of 3,302:1. Topping it all off, the Mini-LED panel of the Slim Pro 9i covered 100% of the sRGB, 95% of the DCI-P3, and 85% of the AdobeRGB gamut in our testing.

On the performance side of things, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i packs plenty of horsepower courtesy of a Core i9-13905H CPU and an RTX 4060 GPU. Our tests showed that the Core i9-13905H is a speedy single and multi-core performer with Cinebench R23 Single and Multi-Core scores of 2,020 and 20,034 points respectively. Combined with the RTX 4060 which scored 9,515 points in our 3DMark Time Spy Graphics run, the Slim Pro 9i should comfortably handle content creation and gaming tasks.

Put simply, if you are in need of a solid content creation machine with a slim build, fast performance, and a beautiful display, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i for US$1,799.99 is a deal worth considering.
